I’ve been ripped off before and never reported it, but this one really irked me. And before u lecture me, yes I know the lessons of paying upfront, but she had 9 positive reviews and we had talked for a while so I thought she was forthright. But she didn’t disclose everything. She requires a gift card payment upfront for new customers and wants the code on the back upfront (yes, I know red flag). I did do all that and then once I arrive she lets me know that she has a monthly management fee of $60. I’m like what?? That was never disclosed. I refused to pay and will just take a loss on the gift cards. I don’t need a Lecture. I know better. I’m just posting it to help fellow mongers out. Oh, her “management” also wanted a selfie of me which I refused to provide. So I’m not a total idiot. Ugh. Lesson learned. Stay away unless u want to pay a pimp fee.

I've heard the "management fee" or "agency fee" before. And a selfie smells like an attempt at blackmail. Gift card anything is a scam, straight up.
