The Landing Strip is OVER.

We all know it's not been the same since covid, but they just signed their own death warrant. I was there last week and met an entertainer and we agreed to go to VIP together. I was expecting to pay the $50 or $60 to the club as usual for 30 minutes, but was shocked when the waitress asked for $250!!! They have changed their model to a "rent it for the entire night" instead of 30 minutes. Fuck that. The dancer and I were both disappointed. I left and went to another club. The Landing Strip lost out on my $60 and she missed out on the $200 or so I was expecting to spend on her. And guess what else, they lost a loyal patron of 10 plus years. This is some short-sighted shit on their part. The couches used be $10 for the night (now $35) and there were lots of specials during the week ($5 dance Tuesdays, $10 dances until 8, and $10 Sunday). This made LS a very viable choice in the Austin strip club arena. I preferred it to everywhere else for years. I don't think they realize the whole idea is to go to the club, get dances from a few girls and then decide which one to go to VIP with. Counting drinks, dances, tips, and cover, that's easily $200-$400 coming into the club each visit. Not anymore. I'll be taking my money to P10 or Divas from now on. If I were them, I would bring back all the specials and the old prices, but charge a bigger cover. I don't think any of us mind paying a little higher cover if we know we'll be getting a good deal for our entertainment dollar once inside. They are so so so dumb.

What do you usually get for that much?

Strip club “management” has always facilitated.

LS used to be my jam but last time I went a few months ago, in the afternoon on a weekday it was just sad. No one was really there and man they were pushing drinks. The manager came by personally to serve me. One of the waitresses told me they were desperate for money. I then hit the now $30 couch got some in my mind $10 dances and then hit up VIP. Used to the money i spent on the couch went towards the VIP price. Well not anymore. Luckily I had fun with one of the two only attractive dancers in the place. But due to the cost and pushiness I haven't been back since.

All these places have gotten stupid with their price hikes including providers. Unfortunately there are the few that fall into their price traps and continue to pay no matter the cost. This will catch up to them eventually and prices will either go down or they will price themselves out of business.

If you’ve been paying attention the last couple years prices are starting to drop, not a lot but they are dropping.

If a provider or business wants to stay in business in the future they will accommodate. If the providers and businesses continue to be greedy and want more they won’t survive.

I went to Divas. I used to go to LS at least half of the time and I loved that place. But now, it's Divas, P10 north, Chicas, or XTC for me. It's sad to say LS is out of the rotation. If LS goes back to normal, please let us know!

Man I remember the $5 lap dances xtc used to have with all of the beautiful Mexican girls. Those were the days.

P 10 was the go to place about 3 years ago. I guess the owner sold it or something because it is the worst now. There is not one good strip club in the Austin area. If you want to go to a good strip club now it is in Dallas Baby Dolls is good.
