Reopening Fastcar's Last Post: 1) What is the real reason for an eccie review?

LoveWomen's Avatar
Okay, Fastcar's Last Post was closed for veering off topic.

But 64 comments and posts in 3 days tell me people have something to say.

So to re-focus the discussion:

What is the real purpose of an Eccie Review?

Fastcar seemed like a real chest-thumper...

Others like him mention:
the size and performance of their penis,
how well developed their cunnilingus skills,
how much money they drop on their favorites,
etc...

Seems most of their reviews are about the hobbyist.

I certainly benefit most from the reviews of new and non-established providers.

These brief, coherent reviews introduce mostly accurate details of the Provider: her physique, her menu, pricing policy and of course, enthusiasm for her work.

Also valuable are periodic reviews of established providers when her working conditions change, (but really, how many times do I need to hear that Kaylen swallowed your cum, really...)

So to reopen the thread:

What do (hobbyists AND providers) think are the most important reasons for an Eccie Review?

To me it's to see what's on the menu and donation
i believe if the girl in the pics is the one you went to see and you got what you came for there is no reason to post a bad review.... though we try to please everybody is mostly impossible.. if you get robbed in any way, the pics are fake, or you got a really bad deal then that seems to be grounds for a bad review.. But if you simply just did not vibe well or if you maybe diddnt make her feel the most comfortable (it goes both ways) thats really no reason to write a review seeing as we see assholes sometimes who treat us like crap yet we dont mess up their living because of it. Just a thought
The main purpose for reviews is information exchange. What I look for in reviews (not as a mod, but as a hobbyist) are the following:

1) Contact infornation
2) Donation paid/time provided
3) Activities
4) WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get - that is, do the pictures match the provider)
5) Physical attributes
6) In ROS - was the provider easy to contact, did everything go as planned, were there any issues, does she upsell or bait-and-switch, was the provider a clock watcher, did she handle the encounter professionally (not count the $ in front of you, ignore her phone during the session, not be watching TV during the session, etc) - in other words - was the provider's focus on you or something else?

All of this information plays into the purpose of reviews. The embellishment made by some reviewers, true or false, I think is to not make the review sound like reading instructions on how to put together a TV stand. You just have to work through the Penthouse Forum to get to the real meat of the review itself. Besides, who cares if someone wants to brag about his prowess, his endowment or his stamina - it's his review.

I look at reviews to get information to base a decision on whether to see a lady or not. I don't pay much attention to the penthouse talk. I know that if a lady has a couple reviews from members here, especially the ones who have posted more than a couple, it gives me confidence that I will have a good experinece. I think that it is important to realize that my experience with a provider might not match what I read in a review because everyone is different.

As to writing reviews, I write them to 1) provide info to others for the same reasons that I read reviews 2) Help a lady who I enjoyed or warn others if the experience is bad & finally 3) get credit for Premium Access.
To me most of the guys on this site write reviews and it's all about them. They tell you they made the lady cum 5 times (come on) or they write a page long review with every SAT word, emotion, feeling, comma and simicolon they can fit in. Who really needs a page long review. From my time on this site it is clear that must of us guys never lose that locker room mentality from high school and we have to show the hobby world how great we are cause we can pay a women to sleep with us like that's something to brag about I don't get it at all. I only write review because other have helped me with their reviews, to get PA credit and to help the lady out. I put how much, what she looks like, what we did, if she is bbbj or not (cause that is a deal breaker for me), if I had a good time and that's it. My reviews are maybe two paragraphs at most. Really when doing my research on who to see that's all I look for in a review and I hate when dudes make me read a lame as pun tittle like "A heavenly good time with Angel" cause the girls name is Angel or make me skim throught 4 paragraphs of emotions and how many times you think you made her "O" during daty to find out if she is good in bed. At the end of the day it is your review and write it how you want I already know this rant isn't going to change a thing but I just don't get it.

For me, it's all about the consumer reports. Was the service delivered as promised? Admittedly, this is somewhat flawed because the connection you make with a provider usually dictates how much fun both of you will have.

So I look for cues that tell me the provider is laid back and not all about business because that's what I'm looking for. And those cues aren't necessarily about the various acts performed. Things like what the incall was like, was there some conversation, was there some dude (pimp, boyfriend, whatever) hanging around, etc.

I will say that some reviews read like Penthouse Forum stories where every dude has a 10 lb cock and every woman gushes with desire. I just usually skim past that shit to see what's in it for me - cuz that's really what it's all about.

I admit I use reviews to get a idea of the sort of gentlemen that are interested in setting up a appt and try to gleem if we will be a avid match or not. Alternatively I see it as a wonderful way for scammers and unpleasent experiences to be avoided by those gentlemen.

Well the most of all I judge a providers style and her attitude towards the client.Compare reviews to car fax. Tell the buyer(client) whats the body and motor skills and mileage on the provider.

Reviews are meant to be informative of the lady that's being reviewed. I don't care much about the guy that writes it or why he thinks he got extra time or better head. In most cases in life ymmv... Most of us guys like to jazz up the reviews a little but don't go overboard.
One thing I've always wondered about is... I see the same gentlemen who review lots of ladies here all the time, some of them over and over again, but they never seem to write one for me. I hope to goodness that doesn't mean they didn't enjoy my company. Eek!

* I choose to believe it's because I'm so amazing that they don't want anyone else to find out about me, thus keeping me all to themselves.

Sexual attractiveness, menu, and ABOVE ALL ELSE: Her level of enthusiasm and playfulness.

Bottom line: an attractive woman who is fun to be with.

I'm sure everyone has said it already several times and several different ways... Reviews are about information.

For me, I'm looking for the basics up front... time, donation, appearance being true to images, activities, & general location. In the ROS I prefer more detail but it is not always necessary. What I'd like to know is things like: is she a smoker, was her room clean, what was her demeanor and personality like, was there any type of drama or issue which came up, how was the donation handled, was she easy to contact and was she easy to find... and above all else hygiene and discretion.

I think the ladies can find a lot out about a guy from his reviews as well: What bracket of ladies does he typically see, how long he stays during an appointment (or more accurately, how long he books), does he write a lot of negative/positive reviews, has he had any recent issues with providers, does he favor certain activities or seem to seek out ladies who prefer certain things, is he tight lipped or does he like to brag, and also if he has a favorite provider or does he prefer new talent.

All in all... this is all about information.
