Going to Vegas Late August
Where to go/who do do? Any fun suggestions?
TW.
The nicest hotel on the strip is easily the Wynn. Beautiful hotel, nice casino, right on a golf course. Its on the north end of the strip, so its a bit of a hike if you want to head down to the Bellagio, Venetian, Caesar's, etc., but its worth it IMHO. I also liked Paris because it seems smaller and less of a clusterfuck, but that could just be me. Everyone will tell you to go to a Cirque du Soleil show and there are 3 or 4 to choose from, but I was unimpressed. I liked Blue Man Group more. The fountain show at the Bellagio is worth checking out too because its free and entertaining and there's one on the hour and half-hour, so its too easy to pop out of the casino and check it out.
Also, the strip is 5 and a half miles long and the hotels are HUGE. So some concierge might tell you that where you want to go is "just down the strip" or "two hotels over". That's a long way to walk in 118 degrees. Go ahead and spring for a cab.
As for playing, I hit up P411 and found a couple of lovely ladies willing to put up with my ass for an hour at a time. Check out Humaniplex and troothsayerz as well. You might get some good leads there.
Enjoy yourself and only gamble what you can afford to lose!
Check out Cameron Alexander on P411. Very sweet! Low volume because she has a real career!
