Does anyone know the specific responsibilities of a local eccie admin?

And also, how would one become a local admin?
I figure since I have a (not so significant) background in website formation/maintenance and that since I'm on here almost everyday anyway lol I figure I could make myself more valuable to the eccie n.o. community.
