The WORLD CUP - the world's football

... G'day football fans,

The World Cup coming soon... Which nation will
take the prize?

France? ... Spain? ... Brasil? ... Argentina?
Portugal? ... England? ... Australia?

... Reckon the US has a small chance IF they
can escape Group B...

... Any thoughts??

Hate to say it, Brazil. Second favorite is Holland/Netherlands. Dark horse for me is Uruguay. Sir.

Brasil or Argentina surely gotta be the tall poppy,
but France and Spain are two other dangerous sides.
Uruguay - like the US - may struggle to get out
of their Group.

Reckon the most competitive Group is E - with Spain,
Costa Rica and Germany - and one of them will join
Japan on a early exit homeward.

Group A - Netherlands and Ecuador

Group B - England and Wales

Wales too big and strong for US/us.

Group C - Argentina and Poland

Poles just too big and strong for Mexico.

Group D - France and Denmark

Group E - Spain and Germany

Group F - Belgium and Croatia

Group G - Brazil and Serbia/Switzerland

Doesn't matter anyway, right?

Group H - Portugal and Uruguay

From there it's anyone's guess. Uruguay will have to get lucky and hope Suarez doesn't disgrace himself and bight someone. Again. Black star power and the Seoul of Asia should give them a run for their money.
... You surely got some good predictions there, mate.

Though the US or even Iran could squeeze past Wales
depending how the matches go.

And it will be interesting to see just how good
Mexico can be. ... They're always dangerous.

Me-own lads may slip-past the Danes, and a
good call from you on Croatia having a good chance
to advance. ... And Germany just may be the sleeper
of the whole bleedin' thing!

Thanks fer the predictions! ...

Not exactly the kind of ball I like to watch. Enthralling nonetheless.
... I thought it was not-onley a GREAT final - but a cracker-jack
contest for most of the teams... Some great upsets and surprises!

... Seeing the US get in and me-own lads give Argentina a hard go
were two highlights!

And, of course our GREAT predictions!
