Internet escort board owner arrested?

This is a post on another forum. I am just confused how they came up with charges that he was running a prostitution ring. He ran/owned an escort board.

Sigh...http://eccie.net/showthread.php?p=14...=1#post1400859

They just want to bust someone one way or another....
Hummm... Interesting... interested to see if they arrest the owners of Facebook, Myspace, Match.c and a hundred others as well... this one may have a hard time passing the 1st amendment test... unless they can prove that he DIRECTLY profited from individual transactions.. that is transactions between individuals.. and be able to name names, dates, places, prices... etc...

Just remember, when it comes to journalism... there is ALWAYS more to the story!

Smooch!

It looks like he was arranging ladies to see potential clients prior to actually getting verified membership. I bet that is what got him into trouble. They are now looking to track the members down now and air their real names if they don't come forward (according to the news).

Arresting is much easier that convicting.

Innocent, till caught on video tape!
I guess they are using new legal angles to shut down the board forums/sites now. The sad thing is, these boards help with safety issues for the men and women. It provides information and education also.
Most lawyers believe that cases like this are easy to convict because juries see pictures and hear testimony from people the jurors consider to be unsavory.

Apparently the site in question disclosed a lot of specific details about cops working undercover.

But I totally agree, these boards make hobbying safe and enjoyable! The gossip is nice too.
