I am not sure how but I wound up on a mailing list for this swingers group in D/FW. Was tempted to attend. Anyone know anything about it?

If I pass on this, is Colette's the best place to check out this scene?

Yes, Colette while somewhat clique-ish IMO is the best all-around swingers club to go to, especially on holiday celebrations. Decent size, has multiple private and public play areas but could definitely use a renovation.
