GAO Bombshell: HHS Cooked The Books To Expand Obamacare In Arkansas.
The Administration ignored the advice of its own actuaries who questioned the program’s costs. In addition, internal e-mails reveal that state officials knew the expansion would prove costly and unpredictable, but pushed forward anyway. Now Private Option costs are exploding and taxpayers everywhere are on the hook....
The Arkansas ObamaCare expansion has been and will continue to be a financial and political disaster for all involved. And if the Obama Administration is willing to break its own rules in order to push through ObamaCare expansion, just imagine what other rules they might be willing to bend or break in order to save it. Arkansas lawmakers would be wise to locate all of the emergency exits; this ObamaCare experiment is taking a nosedive.
Of course it is working (in your liberal mind)............but in reality it is a financial boondoggle on the taxpayers of Arkansas.....and again, like most things Obama, it is built on a lie.Moron, it is not my mind. It's the mind of the Gov. Hutchinson who happens to be republican. From the link in post #1.

Also notable was his insistence that the state just can't just drop coverage for those who've gained it, and that the state's health-care industry can't tolerate ongoing uncertainty, year-to-year, whether coverage will be continued. Hutchinson called for a two-year extension of the private option in its current form, as a new task force will consider possible changes to the program.
"This avoids harm to the 200,000-plus in the private option, and it assures our hospitals and providers of financial stability," said Hutchinson, whose speech referenced several personal stories of those who've been aided by the coverage expansion. "The human side tugs at our heartstrings and is rightfully part of the debate," he said.
No one said that the Affordable Care Act is cheap. It is a Trillion Dollar Expense. Part D that was implemented by Bush is a 800 billion expense.
The federal government picks up 100% the cost of the expanded Medicaid the first couple years and then it picks up 90% of the cost afterwards.
In the state of Arkansas, 200,00 plus citizens who fall in the income range of family of 4 that makes less than $24,000 are getting the benefit.
You claimed two weeks ago that Obama's policies hurt poor people, now you claim that the cost of providing the benefit is too much.
You have IBH disease, all you do is talk in circles. Originally Posted by flghtr65

Texas had advertised for years to get kids signed up, and include the requirement in orders affecting the parent-child relationship (get private or public, but get it!). Health care for kids is considered "child support" in Texas, and a parent can be jailed for not providing it. Originally Posted by LexusLover

The Texas Insurance Commission has been providing insurance information to Texas residents for longer than you've been able to stand up and piss. Before your King-Obaminable came on the scene poor people, middle class, and the rich could go on line and search for a health insurance policy that fit their economic ability and/or health needs.
Apparently, you have accepted the mind set that only Obaminable can help you.
Gruber was talking to you and later on about you.
Texas has not needed the Federal government to spoon feed it. You do.
Of course, if you would go get a job that provided benefits you would have insurance coverage ... .probably a "Cadillac policy"!!!! But you'd rather be a parasite. Originally Posted by LexusLover
