I played around with one at a friend's a little bit while ago.

I thought it was pretty cool and it is definitely useful if you use it for all the stuff it can do and keep track of for you.

I haven't made up my mind if I want to get one yet though.

My mom has 1. She is in her 80s.
She nor any of us know how to work it.

well they can be fun..my son got one and we were playing with it today..........we were playing a board game and we used it to do adding up of points and also spell checking. then when we wanted music we told it to play acdc and it played my fave ,Highway to Hell!

It’s great if you use amazon for a lot of stuff already. If you rarely use amazon then it’s abilities are limited. Also they make a lot of accessories that tie into it which you can control pretty easily with.

I've heard that Alexa is pretty good....

Now if I could just get it to make me some breakfast, wash the dishes and sweep my living room I will be in excellent shape LOL I may try to invest in that Alexa thing sometime this year, however I promised myself I would try to get out of debt not add to my debt LOL
