Review specials- Yes or No?

I posted this to find out with others thought of review specials. We offer them for new girls to generate reviews because it's no secret a lot of men do not like seeing new ladies without reviews up already. On the other hand men get mad when the rates go up. I thought personally I was doing some of the men a favor by offering a cheaper rate instead of going full price from the start. As men, what's your opinion?
No i would rather pay more.

The 3 new girls in your showcase are invisible ?
You just gotta shake your head sometimes:

Carpe Diem Companions -- An Agency. Here's one of the screening requirements:

"Provide Me w/3 Reputable Non Backpage Non Agency Providers within the last 6 months (NO EXCEPTIONS)"

If the provider looks interesting, sure.
For guys, a special is a special. Why pay $250 when you can pay $200. Of course guys are going to complain when the special goes away. But at least your girls got some reviews so they can attract more customers.

I think the best thing for providers is to offer a discount on the next session after the guy does a review, this way the guy only gets rewarded after he does a review and the girl gets repeat business. The guy has no incentive to write a good review if the session is bad since he likely has no intention of going back.

This probably works better for established providers. But who knows.

Where is the showcase? Where are the pics of the ladies? Where is a link to P-411? Where is a link to your website? Why do we have to spend our time doing all the research? Where are the reviews that are available?

I really don't see agency ladies or new indies, so a review special wouldn't entice me one way or the other. I wouldn't see them even if they offered a review special. On the other hand, if I had my eye on an established provider and she offered a special I might be interested in moving her to the top of the list.

Personally I do a review when asked or encouraged by the lady to do one. Occasionally I do one just because it contributes to the ECCIE community.

If I showed up on a review special appointment I would do the review and do it honestly, without considering the discount. I would only expect the special price to be honored in the future if it was offerred up by the Provider in the session.

That's my answer from my POV. That and $5 will get you a special coffee at Buck Stars.

Someone has to blink first - if the provider is new - she needs to offer the review special and out the guy if he doesn't do the review.

Review specials are a good way to generate reviews. But the guy needs to live up to his part of the deal - taking the review special and not writing a review is not cool.
Generally speaking (and yes, I know the irony of this being said by someone who hasn't posted any reviews), review specials are great for the guy for two reasons:

1) The guy gets a discount.
2) If a provider is offering a review special, she's likely to "up her game" in order to generate a positive review.

Essentially, the guy gets a better session at a lower rate. Win win.
To be fair, if a guy comes to see a lady that has no reviews and writes a review that helps this said lady generate more business, then he should be grandfathered in at that special rate !
