Why would Rex go there? Thinck about it ... he was fired from a team that has no quarterback and then goes to a team that has no quarterback.

When news first broke that Rex Ryan had agreed to become the next head coach of the Buffalo Bills, team sources leaking the info to media were quick to point out that incumbent defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz remained on staff, and could stay to coach under Ryan despite fundamentally different defensive philosophies.

That, however, does not appear to be the case. On Monday evening, several reports surfaced that Schwartz will leave Buffalo, and that Ryan will install his New York Jets defensive coordinator, Dennis Thurman, as his coordinator with the Bills.

Rex Ryan will be a funny coach. We have not had a funny coach in buffalo since Hank Bullough (sp?).

But really I like the move. Marrone was an idiot, and only won as many games as he did because we had outstanding defensive units. Be interesting to see where he will land. He could get blacklisted because he took the monet and ran.

Rex shoots form the hip, so at least things will be unpredictable.

Rex is an entertaining guy. It will be interesting to watch next season.....
