That's exactly why I moved here in 78, got fed up with snow up to my nuts 10 below zero without the wind chill. Sometimes even having to take the battery out of my truck or car bso it would not freeze up, gas line freeze,fuck that crap. I will take a little heat anytime. The only thingf I miss besides family, are the fall color and the oustanding hunting we had

Well it was the first suspended dome.
Over the years , it has not been that big a deal . Just go out there , shake the snow and do it again the next time but it is getting old I guess. Time for a new canvas and hope for not so much above average snow at one time.

That state was just hit with 24 inches of snow, which brought a damn blizzard to Iowa, I hauled ass out of there quick.
