Safe Place to Be while in San Diego for the Holidays???

Hey Guys Im comin to Beautiful SAN DIEGO for the Holidays.
Where is a safe relaxing area to stay.

Welcome to San Diego. Its supposed to be beautiful weather.

The Gaslamp and Mission Valley areas are the best play to stay if you want to be central to everything has to offer. I would avoid the Sports Arena area.
