You've got a point, people are against it when they really don't know whether it will be good or bad for the country. Maybe after Obamacare (Pelosi: We have to pass it to find out what's in it) it's understandable there's suspicion.

Instinctively, I suspect TPP is better than the status quo. Asian countries have a lot of tariff and non tariff barriers that need to come down, and some don't do squat to protect our intellectual property, so maybe this would help that. Part of the reason for the agreement is to screw the Chinese, as they won't be a party to it.

Anyway, it's probably a moot point. It probably won't pass. Trump doesn't like it. Clinton likes it but she'd sell her soul for more votes, so she won't support it either.

Don't ratify it.
