All, I did not do the required due diligence on this girl and before I got too far in, I realized it was a scam.

first red flag was she wanted ebay gift card. Second she wanted the last 4 digits of the redemption code.... that's where I bailed. If they have that, they can get the money. she was getting a little put off by then, third red flag.

Hope you got out before any money exchanged. Yeah first mention of a gift card, I block and move on.

You can always ask if they take cash. Literally no legit lady will say no to cash.

Looking at her profile, she is nothing to write home about. I would have stayed away anyhow.

Ebay gift card should end all communication especially if cash is rejected.
