Stood up

This exactly -you never know there may have been an accident or last minute emergency. I will admit that even on my own part its happened with me a couple times -embarrassingly enough. And I hate it because it's so unproffesional. One time, I completely overslept through a visit (I get bouts of insomnia -due to late night anxiety overactive mind ALOT) & the other time, which was recently, I lost my phone for two days & didn't have his email to be able to contact him & still confirm. But in these instances, because I fucked up I made sure to make it up & offer said dates an extra hour to make up for it, so they knew that I was sorry & that it was not the norm. I always want to make sure to correct something if I'm in the wrong, cuz I know how made I get when I get screwed

Hopefully, your date is the same & will try to make it up or do something extra nice for you Originally Posted by Gabby_Belle

While I do appreciate the gesture, I turned her down. I told her that I don’t like reduced rates like that. We all have times where something comes up. The last thing I want is her to be feeling “cheap” if/when we get together.

We did get together shortly after, at her regular rate. But that’s just me - I prefer to do things they way I do. It’s not for everyone.
Sorry this happened to you.. I feel ya' it sucks.. I have been NCNS a few times, I have even been cancelled on 15 minutes prior to appt. with the old "Work called me in" excuse....lol
Bottom line is it happens, and when it does it makes both parties feel some type of way. Just move on and hope you have better luck next time.

Perhaps she will try to "Make it up to you", but don't get your hopes up...

Best of luck to you babe.

A Provider recently cancelled two appointments with me in the span of two weeks - both times she emailed a few hours before the appointment "I will not be able to make our appointment tonight. My apologies for the inconvenience". The first time I figured she had some unforeseen conflict and emailed back jokingly expressing regret while saying I was sure I'd get over it. No response.

The second time, after several coordination emails, she emailed me as I was driving into town, asking if I remembered the directions to her place. I said no I didn't, because she cancelled our last appointment before giving me any directions. She replied immediately, saying that she was sorry that she had mistaken me for another client she had seen earlier, then again said she could not make our appointment.

This got me thinking ... was it another unforeseen conflict, or did she mistakenly double-book? I emailed back asking for a little more explanation with no response. Maybe she didn't even realized that she cancelled with the same client twice within two weeks. I suppose she didn't care. It leads me to believe she cancels often, but I suppose she's popular and doesn't need to care.

Pooyie, please tell the guys who this individual is. I, at minimum, would wish to avoid her. I don't mind being informed privately.

Again, the best indicator I've seen so far is how many different sites the lady is on. Personally, if she's on 3 +, I won't even bother contacting her. Originally Posted by Anonymous01

And my rates are the same across all sites.
Pangolier, I have no desire to cause any harm to this lady’s livelihood - in fact I’m hoping I can can still see her. I’m just confused as to what’s going on. Last week I sent her another appointment request. She was not available, and asked me why I resent all of my screening information. I said it was because I wasn’t sure why she cancelled twice, and was wondering if there was something wrong with my screening. No response.

I'm going to give this another try tomorrow night. I have a date set up with a different provider. I am a newbie to this hobby, and I have only been with one other provider. She never stood me up and was always right on time. What is the likely hood that I will get stood up 2 times in a row?

It happens about 90% of the time, depending on where / how the lady advertises.

If she's got ads on a bunch of sites, some may list a higher "donation" than the one you discovered her on. Most ladies double or even triple book, and at the last moment will go with the one that makes the most money.

Get used to it, don't take it personally, but do your research. Again, the best indicator I've seen so far is how many different sites the lady is on. Personally, if she's on 3 +, I won't even bother contacting her. Originally Posted by Anonymous01

As for being on 3 plus sites -many of us are as -only about 1 or 2 sites have regular traffic, but thats not a guarantee, obviously. Many of us are also trying to help promote a couple sites in particular that were started & created by fellow SWer's overseas in response to Fosta/Sesta. Verification sites as well, or what about those of us that travel that this site does not do strongley in?? Like up north or west?? Have you ever handled the Marketing end or watched traffic from our side before. It's not always so cut & dry...

ALSO, there are scraper sites that post us on them that we have no control of. I just found a fake profile on one of them that has literally allll of my pics with a different name & phone number...I have emailed & reported the profile several times to the site & yet they still will not remove it even though they know it is not me

I never double book or triple book as word would obviously get around & that looks bad.

I felt like such a jackass because it was a disappointment to him & my fellow girl, obviously -but I had thrown out my back & realized I def could not make that work... On the other hand the chiropractor was happy to see me. Ugh.

Now, as for your sitch that you described I would have prob been pissed if I were you to see a text like that after just being canceled on as that would lead me to think something else & was maybe pulling a fast one. But thats none of my business, dear -hopefully, she has corrected it since? Otherwise I'd throw in the towel on that I guess. But thats none of my business
