Oakland A's... More Failure

Ahhh. That felt good. Continued playoff failure.

Celebrating in the Rangers Clubhouse when back into the evening playoffs.

I don't feel they backed into the playoffs. They won the last game of the season with their backs up against a wall of pressure and they were fortunate enough to play well in the 1st half of the season to suck 16 Wins and 30 Losses down the stretch to earn their way into the one game playoff, win or go home...It was a quite a game and the Royal fans deserve to go a step further, it has been too long of a wait for them...I love smallball baseball, base stealing into scoring position, bunting guys into scoring position, sacrificing, etc...When the shortstop for Oakland didn't get his glove on a ground ball up the middle in the 8th because he forgot to bend his fucking back, I said to myself, "You just fucked up" because in baseball that plays on every player on his team's head, "We just gave them an extra out" and it usually goes downhill from there and it did...It was a very entertaining game but I wish the wildcard playoff was a 2 out of 3 format.

Going 16 and 30 to end the season is the definition of backing in to the playoffs. Celebrating that you sucked so bad you needed game 162 to get to a play in game shows how short sighted they have become.

They were running away with the division.

They played like the Rangers have the last couple of years ...
Tough to be an Oakland sports fan these days, huh? Not only do their baseball fans have the disappointment of the A's running out of gas once again; they have to sit back and watch their National League counterparts from across the bay make another (potential) WS run.

Oh, toss in the fact Oakland is home to the worst team in the NFL (yeah, maybe Jax fans can lay claim to, as well, that BUT let's face it: the Raiders Suck. And it does look like the Jags have found a QB, so there's hope.)
