I'm not sure how "over tipping" is helpful if you plan to go back or make it a regular place. IMO it only gets you labeled as an over tipper and for any service you receive they'll expect to be over tipped. Its like going to a the car dealership and paying more than the asking price for a car so that they'll be nicer to you the next time you come in. That said, everyone is entitled to tip as they please.

By most monger’s definition of over-tipping, I’d definitely be considered an over-tipper. But, given what I’m looking for in an encounter, it has consistently paid off for me, including with multiple repeat visits (regardless if it’s an AMP or an independent).

Well... I don't think providers see us as Big Dogs. They see us as $$$. Anytime we start thinking that they (AMP girls, dancers, etc.) think we're a "special" hobbyist, we've lost any "power" we have in the arraignment.
