Under the guise of fighting human trafficking, this new app, is asking civilians to turn on their GPS and snap photos of their hotel room to upload to their site.
Now, even if you turn off GPS on your own cell phone, and take photos in your hotel room to publish to hooker ads later that day, because someone else has volunteered the GPS location and photos, all they have to do is run the snaps through an image analysis and narrow you down to the exact hotel and room you are in.
Sounds super "conspiracy theory" I know... But it can be done. And they will get better about it as time goes on.
My suggestion, never use same day photos at the least... Better would be to have a gf take some pics of you in a non associated location with a normal camera without gps.
