Are the moderator's in your local forum's always objective and neutral?

I have a problem with the fact that when I post on threads started by or commented on by a select set of members that......

I'll start thing's off with this. A certain moderator edit's my comments and sends me a warning or in the last thread I was committing on gave me an infraction and pulled a post down that was within forum guidelines in my layman opinion (after reading the guidelines).

Any one else noticed this as it pertains to certain members and or moderator's.

I thought that moderator's are supposed to be objective and neutral? Isn't that in the best interest of making the forums successful?

Tim, mods are human, and I think it is near impossible to be objective and neutral at all times, especially on a board like this that is very subjective.

HOWEVER, I think the mods on the boards I post/read on the most do a very good job. In fact, I have noticed a few times that they seem to be a little more forgiving with positions they do not agree with--likely concerned about not letting their views cloud their modding duties. I find myself doing this on other sites where I moderate some very opinionated forums.

HOWEVER-SQUARED, I do believe there are a few mods on some local forums who absolutely do show favoritism and bias against positions they disagree with. Fortunately for me those are forums for cities I do not frequent often in real life. Unfortunately they are also forums that have some posts that seriously need to be counterattacked. I am not as good as Wakeup in being caustic while staying in bounds, but I can be close (yes, I really do admire WU in that regard)--though I have almost given up on posting in a couple cities because of the mods. Fortunately for my enjoyment there are enough forums where I can speak my mind when I feel the urge to do so.

I like you have respect for most of the moderator's on this site. It's just very obvious with a select few. You can't throw someone under the bus when they live on the short bus.

I'm sure the Mean Mod will feel bad and quit picking on him now.

If you don't have the balls to name who you're talking about why should anyone care to listen?
