Only Sprint has unlimited plans now. Big Red retired them on the 28th. Your iphone should have hotspot connectivity built into it. (iphone4 and up) use that. That way you don't have multiple bills coming every other week.

I have an unlimited plan with AT&T on my wireless service and my Internet service. I've had clear hotspot and it wasn't bad but downloading sucks, AT&T blows it away.

I have a hot spot from A&T on my droid phone. It was supposed to be 4G LT but it sure is slow most of the time. And I do find that the reception from my office in Sugarland is rarely above two bars if that makes any difference.

I had better connectivity with my Verizon air card, wish I'd kept it.
I have AT&T as well and it does great as I travel the U.S. quite a bit.
