Disable or guest account

What is the difference when doing this to my account?

I don't know whether its best to guest my account or just disable. Any info would be helpful..

Disable is the normal method used when someone closes their account. It is no longer active, but can be reactivated if requested. All of your posts remain unchanged.

Guesting an account replaces the handle on your posts with Guestxxxxx. Guesting is only used in cases of serious security issues.
