All those buttons are paid buttons, and will take you to external sites.

Not sure why you'd click on it in the first place?

Hm. Okay. I guess what I'm saying is, when you see that button, you're already at the discussion forum, so where did you think it was going to take you?

He means he tries to get to the forums here (correct?) and it opens up another window for ADULTFAX or maybe it just opens up in his same window. That is super frustrating. On certain clicks here (not every one mind you, but almost once a day), when I open up different pages here, at least once a day I will have another window open up for the site called HONEST REVIEWS or something like that.

It's a pain in the butt for sure.

To answer your question Roberta...no, it's not a sister site. It's just a paid advertiser.

Are you in Internet Explorer? There must be something you can change so that it doesn't open up in your current window forcing you to hit the BACK button or the X button.

I'm operating in OPERA and it opens in another window for me. Maybe in your preferences, you can change how your extra windows or pop-ups open from (in the same/current window) to (open a new window/tab).

I feel your frustration.

I believe Roberta is referring to the pop up ad issues that were experienced by a number of members last fall.

Here is a thread that discusses that topic.

I'm pretty sure Roberta is referring to this:

The only way to avoid it that I know of is to not click on it.

Yes, that appears to be the case.

Thank you LNK for pointing that out.
