In 2014 I suffered a tragic life changing event. Family, friends, and even strangers told me I should "talk to someone" or "get help". I blew it all off and told myself I would be ok, and I could deal with it. I'm starting to realize they may have been right. Today I ruined a perfectly good friendship and I didn't realize until it was too late.
I'm in a very dark place and I'm starting to see that now.
