Just got to Houston and I was wondering what to do. I know there is a lot to get into, I would like some good recommendations for places to eat, also on the bar scene for providers out here
Depending on your budget, there are numerous great restaurants here. If you're in the Galleria area, Delfrisco's Steak House and Mortin's Steak House are good but expensive. If you like BBQ, I'd suggest Luling City BBQ on Richmond near 610. If you like Cajun, I'd suggest Ragin Cajun on Richmond and/or Gessner & Westheimer. Town and Country Center West of town (I-10 and Beltway 8) has many good eating spots. Downtown Houston has plenty of good restaurants and clubs. On Washington St. near Memorial Park there are some good restaurants. Hope this helps.

Sushi Happy Hours are my favorite thing about Houston.
Ra Sushi, Miyako, Blue Fish
Thank you for the replies. DG the thread is a lifesaver thank you😊
Memorial City mall & galleria mall are fun!
ENJOY!!
+1 on Lulling City BBQ, if you are a BBQ fan. My fave place when I visit Houston.
Good place to sit down and drink, The Hearsay, downtown. Drinks are kind of pricey but its a nice place to chill.
Have fun.
Nothing to do in Houston but lay around and FUCK!
Looks like you came to the right spot.
Enjoy you're stay here...
But on a serious note...
I highly recommend seeing the museums here in Houston. Although I've never been to the Louvre or the Guggenheim museum. The museums here are some of the finest I've seen.
The Museum of Natural Science is my personal favorite... Yes.I'm a nerd.
