There's a big difference. The Earth's climate rotates in cycles. The Earth is actually leaving the warm trend and entering into colder trends. changes in Climate occur very gradually. The idea that the changes in climate primarily warming trends are governed by man's excessive use of Fossil Fuels just simply do not coincide with scientific models of Climate change. Climate Change is much more complicated than just saying the use of fossil Fuels is the reason for Global warming. The Sun and the rotation and angle of the Earth in relation to the Sun as well as Ocean currents and volcanic activity all play a significant role in the changes of Earth's climate over time.
