Your Thoughts on a Hobbyist/Provider Dating?

I was recently talking to a friend and the question of a hobbyist dating a provider came up and we went on and on debating our opinions. We questioned if this could be something genuine and true or even if this would work. Imagine 2 scenaries: If they had met before for a session & also if they had not met BCD before?

Id like your opinions on a provider and hobbyist dating each other? Do you think it can be a successful relationship or is it a false illusion of a perfect romance?

Have you tried this personally or even gave thought to it?

Thanks for your response!
Anything is possible but not all things are smart. I wouldn't give it a thought. Just because you like someone doesn't mean it's agood idea to get involved.

I would think you have to keep your hobby and your relationship seperate...like I do. Ha

Been there, done that, got the shirt.....

It did not work out well. Too much baggage and problems to deal with.
Me personally would never cross that boundaries, its toooo complicated and crazy...

Would you still provide?
Would he still hobby?
If so will Jealousy becomes a big factor then?

Dont get me wrong, some of these hobbists make me rethink my own rule, so everyonce in awhile i put myself in check...its hard expecially when a good DATY hobbist comes around and is really into you....wooo weee!!!
Actually, I've gone there before too. It didn't work out not because I couldn't handle it but because the provider couldn't handle it. She couldn't stand the fact that I would go see other girls and write reviews. Uh, hello? Is that not what I was doing when I met your ass? Why would you expect me to stop? I don't expect you to stop your provider business so don't expect me to stop seeing other providers.

So, it's kinda crazy, but it may work for someone.

I guess stranger things have happened. I would think you would need an almost ideal situation for there even to be a chance of things working out.

All in all tho, it seems as tho it would just be a place where the odds are stacked HEAVILY against you, and the situation as a whole has a MUCH higher combustability factor than most any other "normal" situation.

Best of luck to whoever gives it a shot!

Only way I can see it working is if you both stop or both keep doing what you are doing. It takes a special kind of person to make it work when one stops and the other doesn't. I would consider it depending on the person and how things are between us but that doesn't mean I would do it.

Anything is possible. Providers are people just like anyone else. They live, they love, and they can be very caring souls.

Babydollsnow these are the common things Ive ran across. Im not interested in dating a hobbyist, rather dating at all for that fact but its been brought to my attention on more than one occasion and seems to be something I am struggling with. I value a long term and meaningful relationship still NSA, but if we met in the hobby, thats a bit awkard for me. Ive had a guy hit me with the "L" word and want to become exclusive, see me for extended amounts of time for free and etc simply because hes develpoed feelings. I honestly am lost when it comes to this and I just want to end our friendship all together. I dont see how it can work, Are you going to stop seeing ladies? And you want me to retire, too... So are you going to take car of me persae. Oh you cant so I want to continue my job, then you get jealous/vindictive what have you and then get mad and want to ruin my rep.. but you "L" word me??

Quote from a friend: A common problem with a 'relationship' that starts as a hobbyist/escort relationship. The ladies want to continue to be taken care of, the guys don't want to pay because, after all, you are BF/GF.

Another is the guy wants you to 'retire'... Find another way to make a living, but not as an escort. Oh, he can't take care of both of you, or all of you if he is married.

This tpye of relationship can work, anything is possible but my motto is an understanding is the BEST thing in the world.

Ask yourself a question ... are you going to be able to deal with her "profession" day in and day out without it becoming a problem? It wasn't a big deal for me, as we met in the hobby and I understood the "life" that we both led.

Here's another kicker ... is she going to be able to live with the fact that you seem to be OK with her being a provider? That one threw me for a loop.

Hobbyist/Provider relationships are fun and can actually last if both people try, but don't be surprised if it turns out to be a very short affair.

Good luck.
Epic fail...

If both parties can handle the drama it's not impossible to have a gf/bf relationship with a provider.
