Rating system

Funny....I'm not sure the purpose of rating the encounter threads, is someone giving a star for the review itself or for the girl reviewed...

Personally I believe the star is being used to rate the girl being reviewed regardless of the review, now it also appears someone has voted across the board to muddy the water...games being played...

I threw a five star rating on Carman Perez's thread just as a welcome back and to show some focus to the fact she's back...I did the same when I first reviewed Jenn to bring focus to the review and the new girl...same with Harper...I can't think of a time that I have given anything other than a five rating....and I don't rate often but there are some silly games being played...

I'm not sure about the star ratings. I always thought it was for both the girl being reviewed and for the review itself. If the review wasn't good, why would someone rate it?
Johnsson — I’m glad you brought this up. The real purpose of the star rating is supposed to refer to the quality of the review itself... The writer’s ability to articulate his experience with the lady and convey to others what it’s like to visit with her.

Unfortunately, we have some juvenile people on this board who misuse the star ratings to express their dislike of the provider being reviewed. It’s very petty and childish.

I’ve noticed since I’ve returned from quarantine & I have been getting a substantial amount of reviews again, every single one of my reviews is initially rated as a one star. It’s laughable to think that something so irrelevant would affect me in any way.

Notice my moniker directly under my handle now? I am the “1-Star Superstar” — and you know what? I’m fine with that. Still a superstar. Lol

Well Johnsson, I just gave your thread a 5-star rating. You‘re welcome!

I feel like the whole concept of the stars is dumb. At least in the way it’s been utilized. Point is that as hobbyists we can read and tell the difference between a great review, an okay review, and a half ass written shit review. As far as the provider’s go, for the hobbyists that want to reward their provider with stars, you can actually free hand that in the “Recommendation” field. You can write “Yes” (or No), save it, then go back in and edit (within the first 59 minutes) and add in “5 stars” for example. The readers can write in the comments that they concur with the 5 stars based on their own experience and then tell the OP “nice review”. Perhaps that would eliminate some of the juvenile games being played trying to ding either the provider anonymously or to ding the OP. What it won’t eliminate is the favorites, minions, pawns, white knights or whatever you want to refer to them as, from going in and adding comment after comment constantly bumping the review up to the top of the list to continue getting more views more comments and extending it way past the 30 day window that was originally intended, to make way for more “fresh” reviews. But I don’t think that is a huge problem here though is it?

For example, when I was in Little rock about 3 weeks ago, I had at least 7-8 new reviews posted about me during that trip. A couple of “gentleman” decided they would do their very best to bump any other review they could on top of my new reviews, intentionally driving me to page 2 on every single new review I had.

Clearly, they were not interested in commenting on the other reviews themselves, their goal was just to bury my new reviews. I’m sure that my clients and I were not the only members who noticed that.

Just more petty sillyness... childish keyboard warriors on a mission. I feel sorry for them that they have nothing better to do.

To start out, I think the original poster was trying to get a better understanding of the purpose behind the stars given and nothing more than that.

I wish there was a report that could be pulled by moderators to show which ladies and gents star reviews, posts, etc and how often, and even dig further to show who gives a 1 star vs 5 star rating plus include if there is common ground on when they use the feature and how they choose to use it... just your basic stats on something so petty to eliminate all speculation and assumptions being made.

At the end of the day, a provider proves herself and reputation by her personality, appearance, attitude plus so much more along with how she interacts with fellow companions and gentlemen alike. Gents receive their reputation by how they treat a lady and/or other members across the board plus how they interact with different members and providers as well. A 1 star vs 5 star rating serves no impact on important decisions being made within the community, for example, who a gentleman chooses to see or not see.

I bet we would be surprised or maybe not so surprised for that matter at who the true culprits are who abuse the feature bc they dislike someone or bc they are hating on someone. I can promise you, since I’ve been back on Eccie, I have not rated a single review, post, comment, etc. nor did I before I left ECCIE bc it’s never been a focus of mine, and it never will be. A report like this would prove that I’m being 100% honest!

I could care less if anyone rates anything in regards to me with 1 star or 5 stars as it has zero impact on how I choose to operate my business, how I treat others and how others treat me or view me within the community. I have control of that by my actions. And we all know that actions speak louder than words. To each their own I suppose...

P.S. I know the report is never going to happen but again, it would most definitely cut to the bullshit and kill all speculations and assumptions being made. Just my thoughts on the subject and nothing more than that.
