anyone have one of those robot vaccuums?
whats the best one out there? what do I need to look for?

Understand I had the first generation irobot vacuum.
I have carpeting in my house. I found it didn't clean that well with carpeting, did well on tile or wood. I also found it would get itself wedged under the couch and couldn't get it free until I pulled it out.
The battery died and wouldn't take a charge after about year there and I tossed it and pulled the vacuum out of the closet and continue to vacuum old school.

you could have replaced it with a new battery. it does cleans floors good, but sucks at carpet cleaning. 1st gen may have had issues with its programming. lol.
