and why have they not said anything about FOSTA/SESTA and the fate of Eccie? CityVibe is gone. The Erotic Review just removed all the US ads.

I feel like we have a right to know what is going to happen here.

I remember when Naughty Reviews Changed. They tried to keep us informed. I think that's all she was asking for: Escort Client Community Information Exchange

Websites come, and website go...do what you need to do...no one else is going to protect you...that should be common sense...

Like the minute the Senate passed the bill.

They were one of the first ones to go along with at least one sugar daddy site.

They are counting the cash, shredding documents and getting ready to bounce.

They owe you nothing and can shut down in a minute if they want.

Enjoy the free advertising and save up for those slow times.

Now would be a good time to get a better education and start a career in the real world..

Don't care
I can advertise my business any where.

Why you ask?
Not illegal.

I find it amusing the uneducated are panicking over something that won't matter in a few months.

I truly do not know how to explain empathy to a grown man.

It shouldn't matter in a few months-- it should easily get struck down for multiple reasons. However, many ladies who haven't got other avenues for work-- can't go a few months without income. And getting a minimum wage job doesn't cut it for most.

TER, a board arguably as vital as ECCIE in many areas, preemptively dropping their USA ads was a wee bit of a shock, and brought the awareness of the threat from darkening clouds to encroaching storm.

It would be appropriate if the owner(s) of ECCIE, a for-profit business entity thousands depend on in a variety of ways (investing time, effort, and money), and yes, one that DOES owe something to its membership because of that status, would make a statement regrading the board's future when the time is right. That time may come when Trump actually signs the bill into law. He hasn't... yet. Could happen as early as Monday, I suppose. The board dropping out of existence in a blink is unlikely. (I hope, but who knows?)

Questionable forums could be closed down, all ads of every type removed, possibly reviews dropped (not sure where they fall in this) until the legalities are sorted out, which will, of course, be a burden for those who don't have contingency plans. If ECCIE itself doesn't decide to pull the plug, perhaps discussion areas and the PM function would remain, giving folks opportunity to tie up loose ends, at least?

Worst case scenario is that the government acts while the ink is still drying on the Presidential signature and shuts the place down at the host level. Doesn't matter if servers are overseas if they get cooperation by threatening assets.
Rumor is President Trump may sign it Sunday around when the Elite 8 games are on to distract from the Stormy Daniels interview on 60 Minutes immediately following the final game of the evening.

no one wants to see eccie close because of SESTA/FOSTA law
suggestion to keep eccie alive---change name from
ESCORT CLIENT COMMUNITY INFORMATION EXCHANGE TO
EASYGOING COMPANIONSHIP COMMUNITY INFORMATION EXCHANGE
and have the girls clean up their ads-similar to p411 so we can all avoid any legal hassles or expenses
