Season Chill

... G'day You-inzers,

... As we head into your summer season - I can't help
but notice a soft chill in the air...

... And I will surely hope it's not the Babadook.

... There aint much - if anything - that can scare a
good Australian fellow, though we may become a bit
unnerved if the Babadook is approaching...

... Hmmm ... Maybe it's just me imagination.

You left your scarf at my place, mate. I don't know why you need it when it's 61 degrees outside.

Glad you stopped by for some Netflix time, though.

The Babadook is a uniquely Austrailian version of the boogeyman conjured from a bad book to terrorize those afflicted by grief and depression.

In the film adaption, he's likely the restless spirit of the dead husband/father who ultimately can't be vanquished but can be managed and ends up living in their basement.

Subsequently, he's become a significant meme and LGBTQ+ and drag icon.

Check out "Babashook" and you'll see why the Babadook is a fucking legend. So woke, the film got a special edition Pride release a few years back
