That's a very sad story. She was such an accomplished and talented performer, even though deeply troubled.

It never seemed as if her fate was to be long-lived.

well with her lifestyle on drugs and alcohol the two together cost her life also at 27 curt cobain, jimi hendrix,janis joplin also died at that age
Morrison also died at 27.

That is such a shame, she had a wonderful voice! I kept hoping she would make it...
I saw this picture of her and I strangely felt better.

I hate that people are saying she is in the 27 club... ummm you have to be talented to be in the 27 club, she wasn't.
If anyone was surprised by her death they are on the lower spectrum of the IQ scale.
