Have any openings?

This is probably really old or really stupid but I was thinking of who I should see today and what I would ask them on the phone....

Saying the words "Do you have any openings today?" just gave me a chuckle because it has so many meanings.

Aaaanyway.. back to my regularly scheduled cat and mouse game...

"Are you available today for an appointment/meeting/session?" usually works for me.

Exactly! "Are you available?" is much more correct than "Do you have any opening?".

Y'all just made me laugh out loud in front of the guys I work with lol

Appointment sounds like a doctors visit, meeting sounds like work, session sounds like therapy though it definitely is therapeutic.

I do my best to fill their openings though
