What's there to do in Odessa or gardendale

My Houston based company is assigning travel shifts to Odessa and Gardendale. Whats there to do out here for fun ? Already shuddering at the prospect. Houston has so much fun stuff for guys so is Dallas. How do u guys entertain yourself in this dirt land. moneys good though so not complaining lol
