Going to Brazil for 1st time

Hey guys going to Rio for the first ever. I have to Medellin and Costa Rica but kinda of nervous on this one . I been researching on places to stay like copa apartment, Rio Pastrana and Windsor exclusior. Are these chica friendly? The last reports I read were 2 years ago? Also where is a good place to get someone? I been thinking of online but never done that in the places I’ve been. Any info will help thanks. If any of all need info on the places I have been to I will glad to provide info as well. Thanks

Pestana was guest friendly and you are better meeting the girl outside and walking in with her. Help disco is full of a lot of ladies and unfortunately lady Boyd so is easy to pick up. You will be approached a lot. If you have a friend that speaks Portuguese it will help so you can specify what you want. My buddy stayed at Windsor and said if they look like a local they have to register and you pay a guest fee for the day. It’s was like an extra $150 so choose wisely. There are some love motels close by both as well if you want a place that doesn’t ask a lot of questions. You have to bring a passport to checkin and I recommend paying in cash. Happy hunting and carry what you want only. Sticky fingers all around copa.

I don't speak a lick of Portuguese and I get along just fine. I would suggest staying at the Rio Pastrana. There is also a new really cheap Ibis which is new and cheap and really girl friendly.

Your best bet as a newbie is to hit the termas. Help closed years ago. I like Solarium in the Leblon area, Monte Carlo in the Copacabana area and 4 X 4 in Centro (downtown). 4 x 4 is totally wild and a lot of fun. I would sadly avoid Centaurus as it is way over priced compared to the others. 4 x 4 is the best value with the lowest prices.

Late at might Mabs is the place.

Best place to eat is Bar do Beto in Ipanema get the grilled lobster. For a quick bite in the Copacabana area is Café Stalos.

Be sure to read your PM and reply. And I have a friend who practically lives in Columbia so I'm good. Also things are really tight in Rio so if you are at a terma and meet a girl you like, ask for her WhatsApp number and she will gladly come on over.

Dont know if you went but you have to go to Mabs by post 2. Just across the street from the beach. I’m heading there in a few days. Don’t allow them to take you to a club, the cost is ridiculous.
Also, don’t do hotels. They’ll charge you plenty extra for a guest. Just get an Airbnb and have guests come and go as you please but nothing too wild that draws attention.

If you know what hotels to stay at they never charge you.
