messaging system is wonky

I can read all my messages, but then when I go back to the MS boards, I get a pop up saying I have new messages, but then when I go back to the messages, there are no new ones, just the same ones I have already read.
Do I have to mark them as read or something?
It's pretty annoying.

Yep, mark them as read and they will go away.

Really is screwed up. Gotta go to the bottom of the main page and click on mark all read, but that clears them all, so make sure you're done looking before you click it.

Weird - works some times but not others - won't work in Welcome section but works OK with provider ads.
