post private reply

How do you post private replies.I think I'm posting the private reply incorrectly. I choose the private option and then type in my reply and I think it still appears where everyone who doesn't have premium access can see what I wrote.Like the comments aren't inside of the private box with bold black letters. The comments appear underneath it instead of inside that box.

When you click the PRIVATE button, it should add the tags and put the cursor between the start and end tags.

The text you want made private should go in between the two tags, so it looks like this:

[ PRIVATE]super secret text goes here[/PRIVATE]

(I intentionally added a space in [PRIVATE] so that it would be visible.

Zonk, you can also use the [noparse] tag to "post the unpostable."

i.e. "[noparse][PRIVATE] super secret text goes here [/PRIVATE][/noparse]"

Generates

[PRIVATE] super secret text goes here [/PRIVATE]
