The term "lady of the evening" was once a common euphemism for the current euphemism "escort." So I started thinking (trabajando sin herramientas, yo se).
I know, for example, that it becomes more difficult to find a bodyrub in Fort Worth after the late afternoon -- the several locations, and a few of the better-known indies, that are most commonly reviewed typically close up no later than 7. That's fine by me, as I typically have no reason to be out of the house after dinner.
I suspect that many local guys are in the same boat, having to get their playing done in the daytime. I also suspect, having spent 10 years as a road warrior, that many guys traveling on business are typically in the reverse situation, being tied up during daylight hours and having plenty of time available in the evenings.
I'm just curious, since I've never met Lola Brea and I wanted something else to talk about tonight, if that general perception holds. Do a significant number of encounters, contrary to the euphemism and TV perceptions, nowadays occur during the daytime? Are there enough local guys who are either single or able to go out at night that ladies still do a significant portion of their business then? If I were a provider and wanted to separate my professional and personal life from each other, what six- or eight-hour block of time would give me the greatest opportunity to meet as many clients as I chose to meet?
We now return you to your regularly scheduled Lola Brea thread.
