learning the landscape

Hi there!

I've perused ECCIE before, and enjoyed it, but have never made a profile and never gotten in too deep. Have mainly just checked it to see what people were saying about LE, and different "personalities" in the hobby overall.

Anyways, last night I bit the bullet and set up this account. Obviously, its an alias, but I do know about 6 people (100% certain) that are regular posters here and it's interesting to read what they write.

In my poking around I came across a post, and I wondered if comparable posts were still allowed and saw a correction that I wanted to point out.

I'll click and research all of the links later in the week, but know for certain that TAG is now tagmagonline.com and that they are under new ownership and still have the $50 special rate for Classifieds.

Anyone know what all else is accurate/inaccurate in this dusty old post ??

p.s. I know the tagmagonline info because i know the people that run TAG now, and they are really getting it back in to shape .... though their website is in need of a lot of updating !!!

"Feel free to add anything I missed! I'm sure theres a lot more places out there I have yet to discover!

1 in 3 girls have traded sex for favors in their lifetime. What they don't realize is they haven't earned any money to show for it.

Be polite and courteous on the phone and in your emails. It is your first impression and it will turn away all your good clients; the violent clients don't care if you're rude.

Pay more money to rent a secure in-call in a high-rise with security cameras, but no concierge.

Update your website often. It really doesn't take much time, but will bring you a lot more business.

Save and invest. Don't spend all your hard-earned money.

Use your time between clients to work on your website, advertise, or study something new. You'll be miles ahead of everyone else.

Never act desperate. Desperate escorts attract all the bad clients

Don't make escorting your career. Have goals and an exit plan.

Start a buddy system with other escorts to keep yourself safe. Call each other before and after appointments.

This is a business, so watch your expenses. Don't spend too much.

Get your own domain name, such as www.yourname.com. It is much more professional.

Secrets to getting the good clients?
It is difficult to find good clients, because clients find you, not the other way around. So you have to attract good clients by providing the right services, at the right prices, and most importantly, you must have a smart way of making sure your best clients keep coming back. Get their email address or hobby cell phone number and sending them updates is the best way. (Make sure you ask) You can also give them a secret password to a secret section on your website, with special deals only for these good clients. Then you can be sure that anyone who calls for that special deal is a good client!

Hope this information helps.. Had a little free time on my hands

are you a male or female?

Never met a dude named MONA or a guy that would consider a "profile" as it relates to here.

Whispers, you've been here long enough to know how to get that answer.
Mona, don't forget to post a hello in the welcome wagon.

so ... learned today that there is premium access, and that there is a lady's only section and a men only section.

apparently we'll need 2 profiles.

there are 2 of us sharing this one presently, as noted in the welcome area ... or introduction area.

thinking more and more that "learning the landscape" was a very appropriate heading.

hoping not to step on any toes, and also not to frustrate everyone with things "everyone" knows.

that's one of the main reasons we (the 2 of us that share the profile) usually just hang back and learn lingo and read a lot before doing much posting.

thanks in advance for your direction and assistance !!!

While it's quite possible that your intentions are benign, you should know that the Powder Room and the Men's Lounge exist so that providers and clients may each have a respective modicum of privacy in which to huddle. While no one here can or should be able to dictate your relationships beyond this board, you'll discover that blatantly sharing that privileged information with those for whom access is unavailable will count against you both with the volunteer moderator staff and the users who see merit in that privacy. If you are a couple or male/female co-workers, welcome and I hope you find this board useful in fulfilling your fantasies and/or plying your trade. Just understand that men and women are expected to exercise a certain degree of discretion regarding the PW and ML forums. Best of luck to you both and I hope you get your bearings. ECCIE can be difficult and juvenile at times, but there's a wealth of information here if you do as the Romans.

Then move on to the "Sticky" threads in the forums you are interested in lurking/posting in. They often have valuable info about the site as well, e.g., the acronym/slang used here. Some have special notices about the forum.
There is also a list of mods at the top of each forum that you can contact with questions.
