I think Chase has Ridley Scott Syndrome: where Scott tries to use the ALIEN franchise to explore Big Themes (the nature of the Cosmos), Chase tries to make Big Statements about Race in America while using the Sopranos as supporting players.
Ray Liotta has so much makeup that he looks like Im Ho Tep. Terrible, hammy performance.
Props, though, to Corey Stoll whi nails Junior Soprano's speech patterns.

Just a bad, aimless movie not sure of itself.

Best bits for me was the stuff linked to show. Like when Tony skipped school and saw the cops shoot the mobster... or even Jr saying Tony was not varsity material. Nice throwbacks.
