Business wise, I think of it all the time because we furnish health insurance for our employees.
Health insurance is now our second biggest expense after labor.
There is no fixing it. As long as insurance Companies, Doctors and Hospitols have to make money, it's going to be expensive.
The only question is who's going to pay. If there is "Medicare for All" ala Bernie Sanders, my taxes will go through the roof in order to help pay for all the people who can't afford anything. The men that work for me will be in the same boat, since they have great paying jobs.
Maybe it's a wash. I'm paying out the nose to the insurance company now. If the Dems get their way, I"ll be paying out the nose to the Government.
