“”Trump Shot” Thread Was Closed. Can We Start Again.

The Administrator saw fit to close the thread on the attempted assassination of Former President Trump.

Perhaps we can start again, having a civil conversation about how this “event” is going to alter the course of History.

If the shot had been just 1 inch further to the right, we would all agree that history would surely be changed, as The Former President would in all likely hood be dead from a massive head wound.

But for what ever reason, pure luck probably, the bullet missed any vital parts.

Enough hours have passed and enough facts gathered so anybody interested should have a good idea the chain of events.

First, it is obvious that this was not a “Staged” event. The shooter was real, the bullets were real, the deceased attendees and injured persons that got caught in the line of fire were real, the dead suspect, a mister Crook, was real.

So where do we go from here. I will give my opinion.

Unlike many of the news pundits, Polititians, and various interviewed citizens, this is NOT a time for prayers and some phony” Kumbaya Moment”. It is now time for President Trump to go scorched Earth.

He should emphasize the fact that from the very first day he came down that escalator in 2016 to announce his intentions, the entire Liberal/Progressive/, Socialist/Democrat “Swamp”, along with their willing lackeys in the Main Stream Media, has been out to destroy him. That entire Russian Hoax fiasco, the phony impeachments, the 100% negative reporting on his every action, the recent indictments based on if not complete phony charges, charges based on a convoluted idea of how our Justice System works.

And now, they tried to kill him. Let me repeat that .They tried to kill him.

But, and this is a big But. The fact that someone tried to kill Trump, which by any standard is the most reprehensible act one can perform, should not be a reason to alter one’s vote. Your vote should be based on your true feelings as to the direction this Country should take based on how President Trump performed in his first 4 years , and how President Biden has performed in his first 3 1/2 years.

A civil discussion saying those that believe this was staged are wrong. Then pivoting to the same old 3 Ina half year drivel of dems being bad and THEY TRIED TO KILL HIM.

Here is where you got thrown off the rails. Someone tried to kill Ol’ Schitzenpants for sure. But we still don’t know anything about the shooter or his motives.

This is America and in America lone gunmen are so ubiquitous as to border on the cliche. I think we should count ourselves fortunate that his only target was Trump.

If this was a mass shooter with a semiautomatic rifle a bump stock and some high capacity magazines things could have been much worse.

Could you imagine a repeat of the Las Vegas incident but at a political rally. If it was me I would avoid any outdoor political gathering until after the election because people are thinking about it now and our gun control laws allow for too many crazy people to have access to firearms.

Trumps Black and Latino poll numbers will go up 5-10% guaranteed. Good luck defeating him now. God saved Donald Trump.

Bullshit. The guy that shot at him was a registered republican. Anything that's happened to trump he's brought on himself. Much of the reporting when POTUS was based on his negative actions. Maybe inciting an insurrection and stealing classified info turns people off? I'm sure that's a feature for you, but not for most of us.

Butler county is 55% republican. Why didn't local law enforcement secure that building? As explained on Fox news the secret service will tell the local the law enforcement to secure a structure outside the perimeter most of the time. Reason for that is there's just about 3,000 secret service agents.
