Hi Joplin! Coming to town next month......

Another lady and I are planning a weekend visit and would love to know places to stay, eat? Is there any thing we need to know prior to our arrival. I am looking forward to getting away and making some new friends! Feel free to post here or pm me.

Wilders is a superior steak house. Not fancy but great food. Retro feel been I. Joplin I believe since 1930's ( don't quote me on that part) but worth your time.

Kitchen Pass. Good food and fun. If it's nice, I suggest the patio. Live music on weekends. Their menu is pretty broad, something for all tastes. Never had a bad meal there.

If you like BBQ... Big R's! I'm very picky about my BBQ, and I love this place. And their pies are to die for!

Enjoy your stay... Have fun and stay safe!

If you want to go another 5 mi. down I44, Down Stream Casino has several different dining options. So far, they have all been good. Depends on what you feel like at the time.

The restaurant part of the kitchen pass is now called "midtown pizza " and is fantastic! The bar and live music are still the same but the food has been changed to a gourmet pizza joint
Thanks for the info

Have a great week!
