Phone/PC Network Security, or, the VPN and you!

First off, I love Whitney Westgate, she is my favorite smalltime pornstar, and this is written in her honor. Baby, if you ever read this, please IM me.....
OK...
This is a layman (pun intended) guide to simple phone/pc/mac network privacy...I have wanted to write this for a while. Since I'm watching porn and drinking Vodka and Sunkist, i figured i better get to it, since i can't get a date to save my life lately. (any ladies want to help me out here?)
IF its a duplicate, please let me know and i will replace it with my favorite porn links.
Warning: This does not change the fact that your wife, BF, GF, or kids can check your browsing history and say Daddy/Mommy, what is COF and BBBJ? You have to clean your browser history on your own, not my problem, that guide will cum later.

So your sitting at work browsing ECCIE on your smart phone, wondering if the company free web access is gonna shut you down for adult content, then forward your history to your boss right?
Presto, i present the VPN. VPN means Virtual Private Network. Its a way to hide what your doing on your phone from the network prying eyes, like bosses, McDonalds/Hotel Free Internet, at&t, whatever/wherever. Think tunnel; you get there and no-one sees you...(go ahead and bitch about my punctuation, i dare u)
VPN's essentially create a digital freeway for your data, with no on or off ramp access between you and your destination(eccie!). your phone provider or wifi provides the land, the vpn provides the pavement and lanes! and no one gets to share it!
Its so fucking simple it pisses me off that people don't do it, but thats why I'm here, to help my fellow horndogs and dog-ettes keep some semblance of privacy.

Ok, now to the easy part. Get online, phone or computer, and go to www.privateinternetaccess.com. Of all the vpn's, this one is my favorite(i use 3 for different things), and i gladly pay them $40/year or so. No, i don't work for them, i fix airplanes, anyone who has met me knows I'm an airplane nut, and I'm just a software geek on the side. Sign up, consider it cost of doing business. for that price you can have up to 5 devices hiding from the web police.
This vpn is really good for us here, however it is not the best proxy, stick with other suppliers for that.

Again, sign up. get your username and password. Download the program to your Mac/PC (if your using Linux, your too smart for this guide)then download the app to your phone and.bla bla bla, a beautiful brunette just came all over the place, broke my train of though, Damn Whitney!...
So you got the app on the App Store or google play. put in your name and password and hit connect. Your done. you will see a Key up top on your phone, or a lock with a checkmark on your Mac/PC. Thats it, you are hidden from all but the most dedicated prying eyes (think 3 letter govt acronyms).

Now, I use the kill switch feature, its a little check box in settings, just incase i forget to check my connection status, you should too. also go to settings and set the following: Data Encryption to AES256, Data Authentication to SHA256, and Handshaking to RSA-4096. hit save. hit connect.
Thats about it for now. if you see the lock with a checkmark on the Mac, the green robot on PC, or the Key on a phone, you are connected. You are super protected from the dot gov figuring out your a mongerer/provider now. of course, as soon as you read this, someone will correct me. The key is this company keeps no records of traffic, None. very important. And, to make it better, they have live 24/7 support via text/IM.

Im summary, I love all you providers, and I want us all to be safe. this is a small piece of the safety pie, now go get laid in peace. and if any ladies are available, i could really use a bj tonight. REALLY. (Who couldn't, am i right?)

This is fine. However, you should not ignore the basics. It begins with having a hobby phone that can't be traced to you.

Here is my recommendation:
1-Get an Android phone with tracfone, use cash.
2-Install talkatone on it as means to talk/text
3-If you want to go the VPN route - make sure you don't give them any information of yours. If you can't avoid it - Don't use a VPN in your hobby phone.
4-Assume that if they CAN, they WILL track you and behave accordingly
5-Never, EVER , in ANY shape of form, put any RL information in this phone, be it via email, web sites you browse, text/etc. don't store pictures that you are included on it.
6-only do hobby related activity on that device.
7-Put a pin on the device
8-encrypt the device.
Baby you are one my favs and I miss you and thank you for wanting to keep us safe you are a sweetie. Muah

A smart employer makes sure the employee does not have access to the VPN & proxy sites

Everyone on this thread is missing the big picture in my opinion.

My hobby android cell phone is "all you can eat" voice and data and text. Several different carriers offer 40 dollar a month plans.

Yes, it can also operate on wi-fi, but no need to do that either out in public, at work or at home. I just need to be selective in how or where people may be able to see what I am doing.

It is like having a very sophisticated home security system and leaving the front door wide open. Or a great car alarm, and leave the door opened with the key on the ignition. You get the drift...

Take care of the basics first. Then, you can add more security on top of that....
