We love and appreciate what you did for the hobby community.

All joking and berating aside....

Thank you Amber!!!!

I shed real tears as I think about the passing of a human being who did a lot for ALL of us.

I didn't know Amber, and I never had any communication with her.

But I'm sure, she would have wanted things to end differently.

RIP Amber, RIP ASPD

LOVE to ALL,
PR
I never knew her, but this post tells me how big a loss our community has had. And how much poorer we are without her.

Amber was a good woman who had a tremendously innovative idea and moved forward on it. She set her site up in a very effective way. I have been around longer than most around here as have several others, and have had the chance to meet her years ago.

She had a rough time with her health over the past several years. She is in a better place now and not suffering anymore. She would want all this to move forward from here.

I wish her the best and hope the family has the chance now to reach some finality. She deserves it and so do they.

Thanks for putting me in my place.

NOTE: MODS please delete if you find my post redundant. The above "Valued Poster" thought so.
I am truly sorry.
PurplRose, I don't find your post redundant, I'm sorry someone else did. I've never posted much in any board, same reasons. Strange how the Internet's anonymity gives some a false sense of empowerment when really it's just poor manners...

Just want you to know I appreciate your thoughts...

Note to MODS: I think it would be very helpful if, at the bottom each post, there were a box that said 'add this poster to Ignore List' (or something similar). I think many of the members would find it VERY useful.

Otherwise, congratulations on having a very friendly, well-organized, and informative website. I like it here.

Amber was the second provider I ever met in the hobby years ago.
I owe her my start.
ASPD was the first board I ever joined as well.
She pioneered a frontier for all of us. We owe her a great deal.

PS: I believe Johnnybax post was made good naturedly. Suggesting that her peace has been interrupted by thousands of well wishes. Sometimes the tone of a comment is lost in the text.
