Winter in the North-East: Good or bad for Hobby?

Is this set of post holiday winter storms good or bad for the Hobby.

Is it forcing hobbyista to over-night in"The City"?

Or does the bad weather keep everyone at home?

Do providers go on tour to the south?

Today it is a shirt-sleeve 70s and sunny in deep south Texas.
I'll have to say that it is bad for me. I've had two cancellations this week, because their business trips to Atlanta were cancelled. Nothing new though, it happens every year.

Wonder if the ladies barter for snow shoveling on their first appointment of the day... A twist on "plowing the road"....
