Annette Haven had a long and successful career in porn, despite being one of the industry's most notorious cumdodgers. She never took a facial because she thought it would be demeaning. She could get away with it because she's generally recognized as one of the most beautiful American porn stars ever, because working on film made setting up for a COF shot time- and resource-consuming, and because back then she didn't have to compete with a few hundred thousand California teen-agers who didn't share her disdain for the Krispy Kreme look. These days, you can't survive more than a shoot or two if you don't at least turn the other cheek.
Which brings me to the question: Are facials demeaning to the recipient?
My suggestion is that it depends. They can be if the guy is using it as an exercise in domination or control over a partner who's absolutely not interested in accommodating him. But if the woman either really enjoys getting glazed (yeah, right), or she knows that her partner would enjoy doing the glazing and accommodates him because she knows that's what he wants and she wants please him, I think not. The middle ground -- "Okay, you can do it, but let me get my hair out f the way and close my mouth and eyes" -- is borderline to me, but definitely not something I'd be terribly enthusiastic about.
