~need help with google chrome book~

I bought my teenager one of these for Christmas.

I am having some issues with it. And wondering if there is someone more experienced than I am with this thing?

Main thing ....I can't seem to get java script to load. And I'm sure I have other questions. But really need someone to chat by phone with me and walk me thru this mess.
