OK, Priceline says it can get you 5-star hotels for 2-star rate.
What about a website that would do this for the ladies? I know the ladies would be against this (it smacks of dickering - pun intended). But seriously, there are all kinds of sites where you negotiate prices (ebay, etc.).
How would guys and gals feel about such a system?

Ehhh, I'd rather pay more and bicker less over price in a formal way. ...less paper trail if LE gets involved, but this is from the most paranoid newbie ever.
